Bricks Query Loop: Exclude the Current Post

Leaves the post being viewed out of the Bricks query loops you choose, so "More articles" sections in single post templates never repeat the current article.

Code

// Bricks element IDs whose query loop should skip the current post.
$wpide_bricks_exclude_ids = array( 'abcdef' );

add_filter( 'bricks/posts/query_vars', function ( $query_vars, $settings, $element_id ) use ( $wpide_bricks_exclude_ids ) {
    if ( ! in_array( $element_id, $wpide_bricks_exclude_ids, true ) || ! is_singular() ) {
        return $query_vars;
    }

    $exclude   = isset( $query_vars['post__not_in'] ) ? (array) $query_vars['post__not_in'] : array();
    $exclude[] = get_queried_object_id();

    $query_vars['post__not_in'] = array_values( array_filter( array_map( 'absint', $exclude ) ) );

    return $query_vars;
}, 10, 3 );

Notes

Put the element IDs of your query loop elements (the six-letter ID shown in Bricks, without "brxe-") in the list.
