Accessibility snippets for WordPress
Snippets that make WordPress easier for everyone to use: skip links, focus styles, better link text and fixes for common accessibility issues. For site owners who want a site that works with keyboards and screen readers.
Remove Autoplay From Embedded Videos
Strips autoplay settings from YouTube and Vimeo embeds in posts, so videos only start when the visitor presses play.
Stop Audio and Unmuted Videos From Autoplaying
Removes the autoplay setting from audio players and from videos that are not muted in your content, so sound never starts without the visitor choosing to play it.
Stop Autoplaying Videos for Reduced-Motion Users
Pauses autoplaying and looping background videos and adds visible controls when the visitor's device asks for reduced motion, so moving content never starts on its own.
