Accessibility snippets for WordPress
Snippets that make WordPress easier for everyone to use: skip links, focus styles, better link text and fixes for common accessibility issues. For site owners who want a site that works with keyboards and screen readers.
High-Contrast Mode for wp-admin
Adds a "High contrast" checkbox to each user's profile that switches the dashboard to dark backgrounds, white text, yellow links and strong borders for that user only.
Respect "Reduce Motion" Across the Whole Site
Turns off CSS animations, transitions, parallax backgrounds and smooth scrolling for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion. Visitors without that setting see no change.
Respect "Reduce Motion" in Elementor Animations
Shows Elementor content right away without entrance animations, motion effects or background slideshows for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
Stop Autoplaying Videos for Reduced-Motion Users
Pauses autoplaying and looping background videos and adds visible controls when the visitor's device asks for reduced motion, so moving content never starts on its own.
