Comments snippets for WordPress
Snippets for WordPress comments: fight spam, close comments on old posts, remove the website field, change the comment form and moderate faster. For bloggers and publishers who want useful discussions without the noise.
Highlight Comments by the Post Author
Gives replies written by the author of the post a colored left border so readers can spot them in long threads.
Modern Comment List Styles
Restyles the comment list as soft cards with round avatars, a highlighted post author and thin lines that show reply threads.
Remove Links From Comment Author Names
Shows commenter names as plain text instead of links to their websites, removing the main reward for comment spammers.
Send Comment Moderation Emails to More People
Sends "comment awaiting moderation" emails to extra addresses, such as your community manager, besides the site admin and post author.
