Comments snippets for WordPress
Snippets for WordPress comments: fight spam, close comments on old posts, remove the website field, change the comment form and moderate faster. For bloggers and publishers who want useful discussions without the noise.
Clean Comment Form Styles
Gives the comment form full-width fields, rounded corners, a clear focus color and a solid submit button that match your accent color.
Collapse Long Comments With a Read More Button
Shortens very long comments to a few lines with a soft fade and a Read more / Show less button. Works with classic themes and the Comments block, and leaves comments whole when JavaScript is off.
Privacy Notice Above the Comment Submit Button
Adds a short note above the submit button explaining that the name, email and comment are stored, with a link to your privacy policy page if one is set.
Show Comments Only After a Click
Collapses the comments section behind a "Show comments" button, so long discussions do not distract from the article or load avatars until wanted.
