Multisite snippets for WordPress
Snippets for WordPress Multisite networks: network-wide settings, new site defaults, super admin tools and cross-site tweaks. For network administrators who manage many sites from one install.
Hide Import and Export From Site Admins
Removes Tools > Import and Tools > Export from subsite dashboards for non-super-admins and blocks the screens, keeping content moves in the network team's hands.
Hide Permalink Settings From Site Admins
Removes Settings > Permalinks from subsite dashboards for non-super-admins so URL structures stay consistent across the network.
Hide the Plugins Screen From Site Admins
Removes the Plugins menu from subsite dashboards for everyone except super admins and blocks direct visits, even if "Enable administration menus" is on in Network Settings.
Network Overview Widget in the Network Dashboard
Adds a widget to the Network Admin dashboard with totals for sites, users, archived, spam and deleted sites, and the five newest sites.
Network-Wide Dashboard Announcement
Adds an "Announcement" box to Network Admin > Settings; whatever a super admin writes there appears as a dismissible notice on every site's dashboard.
Primary Site and Profile Links on Network Users Rows
Adds two hover links under each user in Network Admin > Users, one to the dashboard of their first site (with their site count) and one straight to their profile.
Remind Super Admins Which Site They Are Editing
Shows a slim coloured bar at the top of every subsite dashboard for super admins with the site's name and address, so changes are never made on the wrong site by mistake.
Send Users to Their Own Site After Login
When someone logs in on a site where they are not a member, sends them to the dashboard of their primary site instead of an error page.
Stop Site Admins From Deleting Their Own Site
Removes Tools > Delete Site from subsite dashboards and blocks the screen, so only super admins can delete sites from Network Admin.
Warn Site Admins Before They Run Out of Upload Space
Shows an admin notice on the Media screens and the dashboard once a site has used more than a set share of its upload quota, before uploads start failing.
