Snippet Library
Widgets snippets for WordPress
Snippets for widgets and sidebars: restore the classic widget screen, register new widget areas, remove default widgets and allow shortcodes in text widgets. For classic themes and sites that still lean on sidebars.
Hide Staff Replies in the Recent Comments Widget
Leaves comments written by authors, editors and administrators out of the Recent Comments widget, so it highlights what readers are saying.
Most Discussed Posts Widget
Adds a "Most Discussed Posts" widget that lists the posts with the most comments, all-time or from the last few weeks, with optional comment counts.
Remove Unused Default Widgets
Unregisters rarely used classic widgets (Meta, Calendar, RSS, Tag Cloud, Pages and Recent Comments) to declutter the widget list.
