Keep EDD Downloads Out of Site Search

Removes Easy Digital Downloads products from the normal WordPress search results, for sites where downloads are only sold through dedicated pages.

Code

add_filter( 'edd_download_post_type_args', function ( $args ) {
    $args['exclude_from_search'] = true;

    return $args;
} );

Download pages stay public and indexable by search engines.
