Accessibility snippets for WordPress
Snippets that make WordPress easier for everyone to use: skip links, focus styles, better link text and fixes for common accessibility issues. For site owners who want a site that works with keyboards and screen readers.
Give Theme Search Forms an Accessible Label
Adds an accessible name to the search field of theme search forms that have no label, so screen reader users hear "Search" instead of an unlabeled text field.
Skip Links to Navigation, Search and Footer
Adds a small set of keyboard skip links (main content, main menu, search and footer) that appear on the first Tab press. Links whose target is missing on a page are removed automatically.
