Comments snippets for WordPress
Snippets for WordPress comments: fight spam, close comments on old posts, remove the website field, change the comment form and moderate faster. For bloggers and publishers who want useful discussions without the noise.
Remove the Email Field From Comments
Lets visitors comment with just a name, for communities where asking for an email address puts people off.
Send Comment Moderation Emails to More People
Sends "comment awaiting moderation" emails to extra addresses, such as your community manager, besides the site admin and post author.
Send Comments With Links in the Name Field to Spam
Marks comments as spam when the name field contains a web address, a classic trick of spam bots.
Stop Turning URLs in Comments Into Links
Keeps web addresses typed in comments as plain text, so spam links are not clickable.
