Snippets for WordPress Multisite networks: network-wide settings, new site defaults, super admin tools and cross-site tweaks. For network administrators who manage many sites from one install.
Directory of Network Sites
Adds a [wpide_sites_directory] shortcode that lists the public sites on the network with their names, taglines and links, cached for an hour.
Latest Posts From the Main Site on Any Subsite
Adds a [wpide_main_site_posts] shortcode that lists the newest posts from the network's main site, perfect for a "News from HQ" box on every subsite.
Show Network-Active Plugins on Subsite Plugin Screens
Lists network-activated and must-use plugins on each site's Plugins screen for site admins, so they can see what is running without asking.
Sort "My Sites" Alphabetically in the Admin Bar
Orders the sites in the toolbar's My Sites menu by name instead of by creation date, which makes long lists much easier to scan.
