Custom Post Types & Fields snippets for WordPress
Snippets for custom post types, taxonomies and custom fields: register a post type, add meta boxes, show fields in lists and archives. For developers modeling content beyond posts and pages.
Remove a Post Type or Taxonomy Added by a Theme or Plugin
Unregisters post types or taxonomies you never use, such as a theme's "Portfolio" or "Projects", to tidy the admin menu and URLs.
Remove the Post Type Slug From URLs
Gives a custom post type short URLs like example.com/web-design/ instead of example.com/services/web-design/, as pages have.
Rename a Plugin's Post Type
Changes the name a theme or plugin gave its post type everywhere in the admin, for example "Projects" to "Case Studies", without touching URLs or content.
