"Last Seen" Column in the Users List
Records when each user was last active on the site (not just when they last logged in) and shows it in a sortable "Last seen" column on the Users screen.
Snippet Library
Snippets for user accounts, roles and profiles: extra profile fields, new columns in the users list, last-login tracking and tighter control of what each role can do. Handy for membership sites, client sites and teams with many authors.
Records when each user was last active on the site (not just when they last logged in) and shows it in a sortable "Last seen" column on the Users screen.
Adds a "New this week" link next to All / Administrator / Subscriber on the Users screen that lists only people who registered in the last 7 days.
New sign-ups wait for an administrator to approve them on the Users screen before they can log in, and get an email once approved.
Prevents anyone from registering or being created with usernames like admin, support or root that look official or invite attacks.
Emails the site admin when a new member activates their BuddyPress account, with a link to their profile.
Keeps site administrators (and any other roles you list) out of the BuddyPress members directory and member counts on the directory page.
Keeps activity created by administrators (such as testing posts and profile edits) out of the public activity streams.
Adds a "Comments" column to the Users screen showing how many approved comments each user has written, linked to their comments.
Sends users a short email when an administrator changes their role, for example when a subscriber becomes an author.
Sends the site admin a short email listing what changed when a member updates their own name, email, website or bio.
Adds a [wpide_edit_profile] shortcode where logged-in members can update their name, display name, email, website and bio without visiting wp-admin.
Adds "Additional roles" checkboxes to the user edit screen so an administrator can give someone a second role, for example Editor plus Shop Manager.
Removes administrator accounts from the Users screen for anyone who is not an administrator, for example shop managers on a WooCommerce site.
Removes clutter from the profile screen, such as the website, biography, keyboard shortcuts and toolbar options, for non-administrators.
Removes Administrator from the role dropdowns for anyone who is not an administrator, so delegated user managers cannot promote themselves or others.
WordPress only lets administrators edit the privacy policy page. This allows editors to update it too.
Allows editors to add, edit and remove users, while making sure they can never create administrators or touch administrator accounts.
Adds a [wpide_deactivate_account] shortcode with a button members can use to close their account; they are logged out and blocked, and an administrator can reactivate them later.
Adds an "After login, go to" field to each user's profile so administrators can send specific clients or members to their own page when they log in.
Lets administrators write a private note on any user's profile that only that user sees, through a [wpide_my_message] shortcode and on their own dashboard.
Adds Phone and Company fields to user profiles, editable by the user and by administrators.
Adds a notes box to user profiles that only administrators can see and edit, for things like support history or account details.
Notes how every new account was created (registration form, admin screen, checkout, REST API or WP-CLI) and shows it in a "Signed up via" column on the Users screen.
Hides the Admin Color Scheme option on profile screens, keeping a consistent look for every user.
