Archives Widget: Yearly Links and a Limit
Changes the classic Archives widget to list years instead of months and caps how many entries it shows, keeping the sidebar short on old blogs.
Snippet Library
Widgets snippets for WordPress
Snippets for widgets and sidebars: restore the classic widget screen, register new widget areas, remove default widgets and allow shortcodes in text widgets. For classic themes and sites that still lean on sidebars.
Even Font Sizes in the Tag Cloud
Limits the tag cloud to 30 tags with font sizes between 12 and 18 pixels, so it looks tidy in narrow sidebars.
Limit the Blocks Available in the Widget Editor
Restricts the block widget editor and the Customizer to a short list of blocks that make sense in sidebars, keeping widget areas tidy for clients.
Show Widgets Only on Certain Page Types
Adds a "Show on" setting to every classic widget, so you can limit it to the homepage, single posts, blog and archive pages, or everywhere except those.
Tag Cloud Widget: Most Popular Tags Only
Limits the Tag Cloud widget and block to your most used tags and orders them by popularity, so the cloud stays readable on sites with hundreds of tags.
